The HIHP Speed is the next generation of the HIHP series. Designed with no regard for contest rules or judging trends, this model focuses solely on performance. It’s a highly capable all-around 9'1" board. A narrowed nose and tail, along with a shifted wide point, create a more continuous curve, allowing for tighter, more controlled turns. It also rides more parallel to the wave when trimming and provides comfort while walking the board. This design echoes the outline of the board Harley rode to his first world event win in Anglet, 2008, but incorporates the proven HP rocker for peak performance.
FINS: In all regular conditions we recommend the FCS Harley XL tri set. In larger open faces or hollow surf, we suggest the FCS Harley XL quad set. Customers that like the extra speed may also like the quad set on small days.

Thunderbolt Red was our first proprietary construction and performs exceptionally well in all conditions. The Red blank features carbon fiber internal flex components and is hand-laminated with 6oz and 2oz fiberglass cloth on both the top and bottom. This design provides a balanced feel with a medium rebound rate, making it highly versatile, user-friendly, and predictable. Thunderbolt Red is ideal for surfers looking for dependable all-around performance and a consistent feel in a wide variety of wave conditions.
